Access to healthcare is an enormous challenge for people experiencing homelessness and other underserved communities. Our lightweight, one-touch telehealth kiosks are designed to bring healthcare into diverse settings.
Nurse Disrupted started in April 2020 to deliver remote COVID screening to homeless shelters in Madison, Wisconsin. Since then, our platform has been used for over 43,000 visits across 500 providers. We continue to expand to shelters and community-based organizations across the country.
Through our platform, registered nurses are available 24/7 to answer health questions using clinically-validated protocols for over 700 health conditions.
In 89% of cases, after talking to a triage nurse a guest is told they do not need to go to an Emergency Department. Most often they are given advice for self-care, saving the guest a costly and time-consuming trip to the ED.
We take the lift for shelters to make your program successful by handling device configuration, training, and workflow planning. We also provide full support including device maintenance.
